This session offers an overview of Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) and the range of services they can provide employees and leaders. Drawing on services provided by UW-Madison’s Employee Assistance Office, participants will learn how IT leaders can effectively partner with EAP resources to support both employee wellbeing and their own when navigating workplace and personal challenges.  The presentation will also highlight how EAPs support organizations through consultation on critical incidents, grief and loss, and change management, as well as through presentations, facilitated conversations, and skill development for leaders and staff.  Whether addressing personal stressors or team dynamics, EAPs serve as a confidential, practical resources for building resilience and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
